PRE TREATMENT ADVISE
Prior to coming in for a consultation/patch test you will need to leave a small amount of hair to determine your hair colour, skin type and hair density before we carry out patch test. No waxing, epilating, tweezering, or hair removal creams to be used 4 weeks prior to your appointment.
For your treatment appointment you will need to be clean shaven with a razor, the evening before your appointment or the morning of your appointment. We will not be able to carry out your treatment if you have not shaved the treatment area prior your appointment.
No use of steroid creams, retinols or topical prescribed creams from your GP within 2 weeks. Please contact us at Dermalase if this applies to you.
CONSULTATION & PATCH TEST

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED
This will vary from person to person. We treat all skin types for laser hair removal and skin type get effective results, however, some individuals may require more treatment than others. If you are new to laser then a 6 course package is advisable to start with. On average after 6 treatments we aim for 85% hair reduction, at this point we will assess the area and spot treat stubborn areas if necessary or if successful, we advise to see the client in 6 months for a top up – there after clients should attend at least 12 monthly top up appointments.
